Brick walls, black metal frames, and glass doors give this apartment a distinct industrial character. Raw materials are combined with light walls, wood, and soft fabrics, so the interior doesn’t feel cold. Colorful cushions and the greenery outside the windows add warmth.
The apartment is 60 m² and consists of two separate bedrooms, a kitchen with dining area, and a lounge area. One bedroom is separated from the rest by a glass wall in a black frame. This lets in more light while keeping a clear division of space. Both bedrooms have 160 cm wide beds, making the apartment comfortable for a family, two couples, or up to four people. One bedroom also has a work desk.
The kitchen is spacious with a large worktop and a table for four. It’s ideal for a relaxed start to the day or a shared dinner after visiting the Old Town. It’s equipped with an oven, dishwasher, cooktop, and toaster. Guests also have access to a washing machine, foldable drying rack, iron, and air conditioning in two rooms.
A large balcony overlooks an inner courtyard with greenery, away from street traffic. It can be accessed directly from one bedroom. In warmer months, it’s a quiet spot for coffee, reading, or relaxing outdoors.
The bathroom with a shower is done in grays and dark wood, reflecting the apartment’s industrial style. The apartment is on the first floor of a renovated tenement with an elevator, located at Józefa Sarego 16, between the Old Town and Kazimierz.
Breakfast can be added to the stay at the nearby café Bussola Coffee. It’s a place we love and like to return to. Various breakfast options are available.
The Tyzenhauz reception and luggage storage are a few hundred meters away in the neighboring building at Św. Sebastiana 16. Luggage can be left there before check-in or after check-out.
The same building at Józefa Sarego 16 also houses the apartments Sarego 2, Sarego 3, Sarego 4, Sarego 5, Sarego 7, Sarego 8, and Sarego 9. In the neighboring building at Józefa Sarego 15 is Sarego 1. This allows larger families or groups to book several apartments close together while keeping separate spaces.
